One of the most inspiring aspects of the EUfolk Erasmus+ Project has been witnessing the enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to learn demonstrated by our senior participants. Through a series of video production workshops, older adults embraced new skills and technologies with remarkable curiosity and determination. Working alongside young adults, they became active creators of digital content, sharing stories, customs, traditions, and legends that have shaped their communities and cultural identities.

The videos produced are much more than recordings of local heritage. They reflect the passion of seniors who generously shared their memories and knowledge, the commitment they showed throughout the learning process, and their desire to ensure that these valuable traditions continue to inspire future generations.

The intergenerational collaboration created a unique learning environment where experience met creativity, and where participants learned from one another while building meaningful connections.

Thanks to the active involvement of our senior storytellers, these cultural treasures have been preserved and transformed into engaging audiovisual stories that celebrate both our heritage and the power of lifelong learning.
